ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I can't change the world, but I can be the change I want for it.

For a while, I organized beach trash collections. I did this until I received several "warnings" (threats). There were organizations that didn't like my work.

Five years have passed since this self-portrait and the beaches are still littered with plastic.

Institutional changes have been few and slow.

I still have the same feeling that we are drowning our planet.

What else is needed?

*All the cigarette butts in the previous work were collected from the same beach as the plastics in this one. Taking care of your health and that of those around you also means taking care of the planet, because cigarette butts pollute more than plastic.
