Photographic coaching
What is coaching?
Coaching enhances the fusion of body, mind, and soul. The goal is to connect with who you truly are and empower your dreams and abilities. It fosters awareness. It focuses on the present, looking to the future without dwelling on the difficulties of the past.
It has philosophical, psychological, Gestalt, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and transactional analysis influences. Coaching is NOT a therapy or a psychological consultation..
As a coach, I'm not going to give you solutions, wave a magic wand, or judge you. My job is to guide you through the process until you achieve your goal in a safe environment with a start and end date.
Rather than giving you answers, I will ask you questions so that you can search for the answers.
How does photography intervene?
Photography is an empowering tool that invites us to reflect deeply on our own image and how others see us. We tend to identify with a version of ourselves or present a single profile that is an incomplete or partial part of us. It would be advisable to ask ourselves: How do I see myself? How do I present myself? How do people see me? What don't I want to see about me? What don't I want them to see?
Photography shows the world as you see it, and the person viewing it interprets it through the lenses of their reality. Our identity is ever-changing because we are in a continuous process of evolution, and this allows us to see ourselves through new eyes. The photo is a tool with which we feel through photographyIt's about seeing what's different, learning to see what others don't even notice.
So what is photography coaching?
It's been said that coaching is the art of communication, and that photography is the artistic expression of the visual. Therefore, if we work on coaching from a visual perspective, we are working to shed light on the unconscious. It's about realizing who we are, what's happening to us, what our shadow is, what our childhood wounds are, and so we can delve into our being and not let what we're not aware of dominate our lives. As Carl Gustav Jung said, "What we don't make conscious manifests itself in our lives as destiny."
Seeing what we can't see in a photo, the unconscious, drives us to evolve, to be more creative, it moves us toward expansion... This advancement in our vision leads us to empowerment.
Each coaching session is different as every process is. It involves shaking and moving through the image, sometimes with visual exercises and others in which You will be the photographer, and I will be the one who guides you. as a coach. You don't need photographic equipment Because with a mobile phone we are able to create and unleash our creativity.
TAnd I'll explain it in a more visual way:
There are differences between ver, look and observeThe objective of photographic coaching is that perception, attention and emotion come together in observation.
How do you look at what you look at?

Feeling lost or broken is part of a crisis. It's the silent voice that pushes us toward change. It transforms by letting go of the old to welcome the new.
David Richo wrote that "our wounds "They are often the openings to the best and most beautiful part of us."
How many things can you learn from this pain?

We are born into a family system from which we inherit beliefs, most of them limiting. We also belong to a society from which we learn more beliefs that we don't even question. Without realizing it, we "live" caged, and each bar is a belief that conditions our way of life.
Imagine what it feels like to feel the freedom to break free.
What does freedom mean to you? How would you feel about being free?

Feeling the support of our tribe (family and friends) during our movement of change is important for our self-esteem. They can be the impulse that we need to reach the goal.
Is there anything still preventing you from achieving your goal?

Each of the previous photos invited you to reflect. To look beyond. In this one in particular, I'm going to ask you to stop and look at it. What do you see? Where are the sunflowers facing? Do you notice any beliefs? We were told that sunflowers always looked at the sun, but they blinded us.The point is that this statement has nuances. At dusk, they return to their position to wait to welcome the sun at dawn, which is why most of them in the photo are turning their backs on it. When they are adults, they stop doing this movement; they simply take a break from seeking the light and remain in the same position.
Is there another different way to see/look at/observe the situation?

It is normal that you feel fear into the unknown. That's the purpose of this emotion: to put you on alert and even paralyze you. But if you channel that energy as a source of transformation, you'll have directed your life to keep moving forward.
What are you afraid of?

Our self-esteem is shaped by our mother in our first years. childhood And we build our body image under the influence of our mother's beliefs and our environment (culture, society, etc.). Therefore, the vision we have of our body is subjective. It can be transformed by changing the way we look at ourselves.
Coaching doesn't focus on the past, although to understand our present, we can look back and work on it through photography.
What was your childhood like? Who do you see when you look? Do you recognize yourself? What do you feel?

«Your vision will become clearer only when you look into your heart. He who looks outside, dreams. He who looks inside, awakens.».
