INTUITION

Since I was a child, my mind always processed things differently. I noticed details and admired them, while others overlooked them. I was moved by everyday things and spent my days creating.

It still happens to me as an adult. In December 2017, I was coming back from dropping my son off at school and, while walking with my canine companion, I saw the damage caused the night before by strong winds. Among all the fallen trees, one branch caught my attention. I stopped and looked at it. I had a feeling it was trying to tell me something, so I picked it up and went back to the house to take selfies with it.

That branch was the representation of the calm before the storm.

It was a creation from intuition.

It was eyes full of images.

It was a way of inhabiting the gaze.

It was me.
