This project arose Because while searching for a new home, I saw hundreds of listings. I've discarded dozens based on photos alone. I've seen living rooms immersed in chaos that didn't inspire me to imagine myself sitting on my couch drinking coffee and embroidering. Bedrooms with unmade beds. Unmade beds! Kitchens with sinks filled with dirty dishes and countertops that weren't visible because they were full of kitchenware and appliances. Dirty floors. Lifted toilet seats (yuck). In short, houses without good marketing that made me dream.

I've visited some where the photos, text, price, and features fit what I want and desire, and surprise! The photos were taken with wide-angle lenses and extra light, so they looked much larger than they were, so when I went to visit them, I was disappointed!
