Learning

For me, grief doesn't end at the previous stage. From grief comes mastery of the self. We learn from pain, and grief, if experienced, brings much insight into ourselves and those around us.

The greatest lesson it brings is detachment—from someone, a situation, something material, a job, or even from someone we were at one point.
